We will treat your data in the same way that we would wish our own personal information to be treated. This notice explains how we use any personal information we collect from you through our website and forms.

Collecting your information
Most of our pages on our website can be accessed without giving us your personal information. If, however, you sign up for our mailing list we’ll ask you for your name and email address. We also record your activity and preferences when visiting our website through the use of cookies (see the Cookies section below). If you are a business signing up to be a partner or purchasing advertising we will collect relevant information required for these to be created and to maintain accurate records of any service agreements.

Using your information
If you agree to receive email updates, we’ll use your name and email address to send this information to you in the form of newsletters. By sending this information to you, we are pursuing our legitimate interest to provide you with the latest news, events, and information regarding our services. You have the right to object or restrict to this processing at any time, just let us know (see the Contact section below), or click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. We promise not to bombard you with information or irrelevant news. We use Mailchimp to send our newsletters. Please see Mailchimp‘s privacy notice for further information.

For business users, any information we collect from you for partnership or advertising is required to create a record of our service agreement and for us to create your advert.

Who else receives your personal data?
We will only share your personal information with third parties if required by law or if they are integral to the operating of our business.

Third parties operating on our behalf include our third-party website statistics tracker (Google Analytics), third-party payment provider (Billetto), and third-party mailing provider (MailChimp). Data collected via our website and forms is encrypted in transit using highly secure TLS cryptographic protocols, and any third-party companies listed above that operate outside of the EU are registered with the US Privacy Shield and have updated their privacy policies to ensure your personal data is adequately protected in line with GDPR.

How long will we keep your personal data for?
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. For general users, this means we’ll keep hold of your data during the period we provide our services. For business users we’ll keep hold of your data during the period we provide our service to you plus six years from the end of the last company financial year they related to, in order to comply with UK company record keeping requirements.

Your rights to your personal data and complaints
You’re entitled to know what personal information we hold about you and how that information is processed, which means you can ask us to do any of the following things:

to access your data;
to rectify any mistakes relating to your data;
to erase your data;
to stop processing your data;
to receive an electronic copy of your data;
to object to our processing of your data;
to receive a notification of any breach of your personal data (we will automatically notify you of this).

Just let us know (see Contact section below) if you’d like to exercise any of your rights.

Cookies
Our site uses cookies (a small text-only file that is placed on your computer by another computer on the internet to enable that computer to know when you are visiting a particular site) to distinguish you from other users of our site and to distinguish which web pages are being used. They are widely used in order to make sites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site owners. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us. We only use information collected from cookies for statistical analysis purposes via Google Analytics. This analysis allows us to recognise and count the number of visitors, to see how visitors move around our website when they are using it, and provides us with information about the type of browser they are using, device, and duration of visit. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our site and also allows us to improve our site, for example, by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily.  Most web browsers allow control of cookies through the browser settings. Please be aware that if you decline to accept cookies, it may prevent you from taking full advantage of our site.
